Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Social Services Mental Health Counseling Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Full licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist required Certifications: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC Must-Have: Must have full licensure; associate license will not suffice. Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics. Client experience preferred. Description: This position requires floating between units. Weekends are required every other weekend. No on-call duties are required. The expected patient ratios are 7. Candidates must have experience in crisis intervention and managing mental health assessments. Prior experience conducting mental health evaluations for youth and adult populations is essential. This role involves identifying social, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients. Candidates will provide patient and family education, support, and advocacy. Knowledge of cultural issues, Medicaid, and Medicare is required. Responsibilities include completing bio-psychosocial assessments and facilitating discharge planning. Candidates will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. The patient population includes individuals suffering from mental health illnesses and substance use disorders. A consultant role is expected to provide care level recommendations as directed by an attending provider.
