Job Summary:
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care in a specialized setting, demonstrating leadership and critical thinking skills, and maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. The position requires accountability for delivering safe, effective care during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Nights
• Position Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsibilities include demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, leadership, and delegating patient care priorities appropriately, while supervising assigned personnel.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications (through the American Heart Association), vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, preferred wound care experience, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate the ability to manage patient ratios of 6:1, possess knowledge of vent/trach care, and be committed to providing safe, effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
