Job Summary Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse in a Night shift position. The role involves providing patient care in a LTAC/Telemetry setting, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure safe delivery of care. The nurse demonstrates leadership, maintains clinical competencies, and supervises assigned personnel in accordance with state regulations and hospital policy.
Job Details
Position Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The RN demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Certifications: Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association).
Experience Requirements: Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience.
Licenses: Must have Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must use the specified submission template for consideration. The position is for a peak period requiring 2 positions from 11/02/2026 to 01/25/2027.
