Job Summary: Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse in a skilled nursing setting with a focus on providing comprehensive patient care. The position is located in a facility offering short term and long-term residential care, with responsibilities including medication administration and unit-specific duties.
Job Details:
Schedule: Dayshift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 2+ years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) long-term care.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Float: Float rotation may be required to short term, long term, and Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) units.
Additional Information: The role involves working on two units: one with 12 beds for short-term residents and CBRF residents, and one with 20 beds for long-term residents. The team includes 3 aides and 2 nurses per shift. Scrubs should be clean and work-appropriate. The contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. On call for low census hours possible; call back minimum is 2 hours. During flu season, vaccination is mandatory; unvaccinated travelers must wear masks.
