Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Long Term Care position in Hawaii, requiring an active HI RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

  • Long Term Care facility located on-site at a hospital
  • Duties include assessments, treatments, medication administration, and admitting/discharging patients
  • Provides ADL assistance and notifies MD/NP of pertinent patient information
  • Performs specialized care including Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized Treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy care
  • Varied 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Candidates must be flexible with no guarantee of specific hours or shift preference
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active HI RN license required by start of assignment (may apply upon acceptance of offer if not currently licensed)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
  • Long Term Care experience preferred

Additional Information

  • All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment for a scheduled appointment
  • Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii by the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
  • Holiday coverage required as part of the varied shift schedule
