Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for residents in a long-term care environment. The successful candidate will work with a team to support geriatric residents, focusing on wound care management and overall well-being, without the need for acute care interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments and documentation.
• Implement and monitor the nursing plan of care.
• Provide oversight and support to LPN and CNA colleagues.
• Administer medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate flexibility and strong delegation skills in daily tasks.

Requirements

• Current RN license in New York State.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
