Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team for a contract assignment from 07/08/2026 through 10/10/2026. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical, leadership, and organizational skills and be committed to providing high-quality care while supporting the daily operations of the healthcare department. Minimum Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Operations
Provide quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Work closely with physicians to coordinate and support patient care.
Prepare healthcare records for physician clinic visits.
Ensure physician orders are accurately transcribed and carried out to meet the healthcare needs of adolescents.
Staff Supervision & Training
Communicate with outside departments, answering questions and providing education as needed.
Attend scheduled departmental meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Provide and supervise orientation for new healthcare department employees.
Conduct ongoing training and educational support for current healthcare staff.
Scheduling & Staffing
Prepare nursing staff schedules and communicate staffing needs to vendors.
Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and addressing staffing needs.
Serve as the primary contact for after-hours call-ins and secure adequate nursing coverage as required by the facility.
Assist with staffing shortages by covering shifts when necessary.
Healthcare Supplies & Inventory
Monitor, order, and maintain healthcare supplies necessary for daily operations.
Ensure the healthcare department remains properly stocked and organized.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate healthcare records and documentation.
Ensure the healthcare clinic remains compliant with all facility, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Monitor documentation practices to support continuous compliance.
