  • $2,050 Weekly Gross

REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS

• Nursing Facility/Nursing Home experience is required.

• Behavior Management Techniques

• Degenrative Disorders (Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's)

• Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG

 

Requirement:

  • NY State LPN/LVN license.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Nursing Home setting.
  • EPIC EMR Experience.
  • Current BLS AHA certifications.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in LTC  to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing support to adult patients across various medical-surgical units, ensuring high-quality patient care through accurate assessments, medication administration, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in acute care settings, demonstrate proficiency with electronic health record systems, and have experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical needs. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient recovery and well-being within a dynamic hospital environment.

Duties

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders while monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with invasive procedures such as IV insertions, catheterizations, and sterile dressing changes using aseptic techniques.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions continuously, including ventilator management and acute pain management strategies.
