Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
FSN is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic clinical team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and assistance with daily patient needs.
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient conditions to the supervising RN or physician.
- Support patient admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently and compassionately.
- Perform basic wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection with precision.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions to promote understanding and compliance.
- Adhere rigorously to infection control protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Shift & Schedule:
- Day shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
