Nightingale Nurses - Allied is seeking a LPN / LVN Med Surg for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

• Active NY Single State LPN License required (NY is not Compact)
• BLS required
• EPIC experience required (hard requirement)
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience
• Recent acute care experience within the last 2 years required
• Travel experience required
• Must be able to take own patient assignment with RN support
• Candidates must be outside the 75-mile radius (locals accepted at reduced rate)

Unit Details:

• Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Complex Care Unit
• Patient population: Adults & geriatrics

Required Skills:

• Telemetry monitoring
• IV therapy, starting/maintaining IVs
• Central line & PICC line management
• Phlebotomy
• Blood product administration
• Heparin protocols
• Oxygen therapy (HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen tanks)
• Trach care/management
• Feeding tube care
• Pacemaker care
• Wound care & wound vacs
• Surgical drains
• Isolation precautions
• Rapid response/code team experience
