Job Requirements

• Active Colorado RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with vents and trachs in an LTAC or acute care setting
• Knowledge of central lines and complex patient care
• Wound care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a long-term acute care and telemetry setting
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor patients with complex respiratory and medical needs, including those requiring vents and trachs
• Support care for patients with central lines and other advanced clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and healthcare staff to promote safe, high-quality outcomes
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning and professional growth
• Delegate and coordinate patient care priorities as appropriate
• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to assigned personnel when needed
