Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Long Term Care unit requiring NY licensure, prior charge experience, and travel nursing experience.

Details

• Nursing home long term care (LTC) unit setting with 23 beds and an average daily census of 21
• Patient ratio of 1:10 on all shifts
• Night shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 23:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
• Floating required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Charting system experience required

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive LTC nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and patient/family teaching
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered
• Previous employees may be considered if it has been at least 6 months since their last assignment with the health system
• Call-off policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
