Start Date: October 27, 2026

Location: Seward, Alaska

Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, variable (Days 07:00-19:30 or Nights 19:00-07:30). Shift assignment dependent on facility needs at time of start. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period. Patient ratio 1:20. Choice of 13-week or 26-week assignment duration.

• Local shuttle service available in Seward for convenient community transportation

• Orientation provided on-site with 40 hours of training

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required at time of submission (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Long-term care experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:20
• Skills required: oxygen administration, peripheral line care, isolation precautions/PPE
• Willingness to work at least 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Alaska Food Worker Certification will be obtained during orientation (one-time $10 fee)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
