Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care position requiring PointClick Care experience and flexibility for day or night shift rotations.

Details

• Work in a 25-bed Long Term Care/Intermediate Care unit in a very rural setting
• Rotating schedule of 36s/48s on a Saturday through Friday work week
• Day shift (3x12 hours, 6:30am-6:30pm) or night shift (4x12 hours, 6:30pm-6:30am)
• Must be flexible to work either day or night shift as scheduling requires
• Weekend shifts required
• Mandatory floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• PointClick Care charting experience required
• Cerner charting experience required, as facility transitioned to this system in October 2022
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Long Term Care/Intermediate Care setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius of the facility are considered local and are not accepted for this assignment
• RTO requests should be minimal and submitted with initial application, with limited availability for full weeks off during the assignment
• Some holiday coverage is expected
• Previous travelers to this facility are welcome to reapply; permanent staff seeking to transition to travel roles require facility approval
