Job Summary:
Mammographer position in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The individual will demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors, ensuring high-quality radiographic images are captured and appropriately labeled according to departmental standards. The position requires accurate documentation and timely transmission of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, minimum of 34.5 hours per week, with a shift of 11.5 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and must meet Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with image evaluation, mammography positioning, compression techniques, technique factor competency, radiographic image labeling, PACS navigation, IDX system usage, and patient tracking system usage.
• Additional Information: The role requires demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness in clinical tasks, with responsibilities including proper image evaluation, labeling, and complete documentation of patient tracking information. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and end on 12/12/2026.
