Job Summary:
Mammographer position in Brooklyn, New York. The role involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography, demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors. The specialist will ensure all radiographic images are properly labeled, evaluated for technical acceptability, transmitted to PACS in a timely manner, and completed within the designated systems, including IDX. This position requires adherence to department SOPs and accurate patient tracking.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and ability to maintain Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with biopsy and stereo imaging techniques.
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate proficiency in work effectively and efficiently.
