Travel Mammography Tech - $1,637 per week in Bremen, IN

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ARRT (R) & ARRT (M) required Must-Have: - Experience as a Mammography Technologist - ARRT certification - Ability to assist with ultrasound-guided breast biopsies as needed - Strong knowledge of 3-D and digital mammography Description: This position requires experience as a Mammography Technologist. Candidates with X-ray tech experience are preferred. The schedule will rotate weekly between Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role is for 24 hours per week. There is no on-call requirement or weekend shifts. Prior charge experience is preferred. There will be a typical patient ratio of 1 caregiver per patient. Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred. The daily patient census is approximately 12, focusing on adult and geriatric populations. Mammography technologies such as Hologic 3D will be utilized regularly. Candidates must be comfortable adhering to isolation precautions and using personal protective equipment. First-time travelers will be considered for this position. Candidates may be required to assist other staff as necessary based on the needs of the facility. Unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated. Module completion is required within the first week of the assignment. All required certifications must be obtained prior to the starting date.
