About the Position Position/Specialty: Mammography Tech Shift: 5x8s, M-F, 8:30a-5p Daily Caseload: 15-20 mammos Weekend REQ: No (volunteer only if events are scheduled) Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): No, technologist will stay within the Breast Center Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes Cert/License Requirements: BLS; ARRT (M); SCRQSA (M) SC state license Equipment experience Preferred: Hologic, Siemens Special Requirements: Experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms; Stereo Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound and Ultrasound Biopsies are a plus but not required. Radiation Badge Req (Y/N): Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: No, SC license must be in hand prior to start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
