Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a day shift assignment at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience.

Details

  • Short-term acute care teaching hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • No weekend requirements
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating between units required
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
  • Valid state license required in hand at time of submission, if applicable
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Additional Information

  • Scrubs of any color permitted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided by facility
  • No parking fees
  • Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
  • Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
  • Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a 3-month waiting period
  • Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including as permanent staff, travel contractor, or per-diem
  • Local candidates accepted, though at a lower bill rate if within a 50-mile radius of the facility
