Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Napa, CA 94558
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Napa, California
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:00), 13-week assignment. Daily census of approximately 35 patients. Two rooms available for imaging procedures.
Highlights:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in a well-equipped imaging department
- Work with modern digital and 3-D mammography technology including Hologic equipment
- Opportunity to gain experience with biopsy procedures and needle localization (preferred but not required)
- Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in a community hospital setting
- Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
- 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
Requirements:
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submission
- ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Skills in 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, and PACS required
- Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy, and outpatient settings preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius or accept local compensation rates
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
