Travel Mammography Tech - $2,275 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid State License required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Mammography-ARRT Must-Have: Biopsy experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with Hologic equipment. Description: Seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The position will not require floating between units. On-call and weekend coverage are not required. The expected patient ratio is manageable. The technologist must be familiar with the following procedures: - 3-D Mammography - Diagnostic Mammograms - Digital Mammography - Digital Quality Assurance Procedures - Fine Needle Aspiration - Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX - Inpatient and Outpatient procedures - Clienttion Safety - Screening Mammograms - Stereotactic Biopsy - Needle Localizations The facility has a total of 450 staffed beds and provides various support services, including interpretation services and interdisciplinary support. The mammography unit includes equipment such as Trident and Hologic. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and commit to working three of five major holidays. All requests for time off or specific scheduling must be submitted upfront. Candidates will be required to provide references covering the past year.
