Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 730 AM - 4 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty. License: Valid AHA BLS Certification Certifications: ARRT - Mammography Certificate Required Must-Have: - Official documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams in the last 24 months, signed by leadership. - 15 Breast-specific CEUs in the last 3 years. - 8 hours of documented digital training. - 8 hours of documented 3D/tomo training. - Documented 40 hours of mammography training. - Documented initial 25 supervised exams. Description: The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing mammography exams. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. The role requires a valid AHA BLS certification and an ARRT Mammography Certificate. Candidates must provide official documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams in the last 24 months, signed by leadership. Continuing education is essential, requiring 15 Breast-specific CEUs in the last 3 years. Eight hours of digital training and eight hours of 3D/tomo training must be documented. A total of 40 hours of mammography training is required along with initial documentation of 25 supervised exams.
