Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Inpatient, Outpatient Description: Mammography Tech assignment for 13 weeks. Start date is ASAP. Shift is 5x8 hours. Candidates need at least 1 year of experience. First timers are accepted. BLS and ARRT certifications are required. Willingness to be available for weekend shifts is necessary. Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility. Time off will be approved based on individual circumstances upon offer. All requested time off must be included in the submission. Guaranteed hours are 72 hours per 2 weeks, with the possibility of being called off for 1 shift every 2 weeks. The facility is an acute hospital and a Magnet facility. The facility has a Level II Trauma designation. Total staffed beds in the facility are 407. Parking is offered free of charge. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. References are required from the last 3 years covering at least 1 year of experience. Travelers can work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in this assignment. A break of a minimum of 6 months is required before returning for another traveler assignment. Only Hep B vaccines are accepted, and titers or declinations will not be considered. Candidates are encouraged to look into housing options in the area as availability may be limited. Modules are non-billable and typically take an average of 16 hours to complete. Time spent on modules is self-reported and recorded. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References must cover work history during the compliance process and prior to the start of the assignment.
