Travel Mammography Tech - $2,579 per week in Gig Harbor, WA

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: Experience with screening mammography and DEXA exams Description: The position requires proficiency in conducting screening mammography and DEXA exams. The technologist will perform an average of 15 exams per day. Equipment utilized includes Hologic systems, with EPIC for electronic medical records and McKesson for PACS. The department consists of one mammography room and one DEXA room. There is no requirement to float to other areas. The role does not involve starting IVs or requiring on-call standby. Scrub attire consists of black pants and a solid color scrub top of any color. No weekend or holiday work is expected in this position. A complete department-specific orientation will be provided on-site. The radiology supervisor is available for guidance. The facility does not have in-house radiologists 24/7. The job offers guaranteed hours of 40 per week.
