Travel Mammography Tech - $2,617 per week in Eureka, CA

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ARRT M*, ARRT R*, BLS, ARRT (M)* Must-Have: Compact license must be in hand at submission. Experience with 3-D Mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and digital mammography. Knowledge of radiation safety and universal precautions. Description: The Mammography Technologist will perform mammography screens, diagnostic exams, and stereotactic biopsies. Experience with fine needle aspiration and needle localizations is preferred. Ability to teach breast self-examinations is a plus. Strong skills in digital quality assurance procedures are essential. Work will include both inpatient and outpatient settings. Technologist may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must be willing to commit to working on holidays. References covering prior experience are required prior to start. Compliance with all health and safety protocols is mandatory. Communication devices will be supplied as needed for performing duties. No direct outreach to facility contacts is permitted unless for agreed-upon interviews.
