Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification for a 13-week outpatient assignment

Details

• Outpatient mammography setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic EMR experience required
• Uses PACS system and Hologic equipment
• May float between sister facilities near the contracted location

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms required
• Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy preferred
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable
• Must not have worked as a Providence facility permanent employee within the last 3 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for consideration at travel rate
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff
