Travel Mammography Tech - $2,763 per week in Dayton, OH

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: 1 year required License: Active OH license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT R required Must-Have: Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, registered in mammography, EPIC required Description: This position is for a screening-only site. The shift is 5x8, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. Additional requirements include a report with the number of mammograms completed since October 2023. Candidates must list 25 mammograms done under supervision during training. Any breast imaging continuing education certificates earned since October 2022 must be provided. A mammogram training certificate and any documentation from training or diplomas is required. Candidates must have 8 initial hours of continuing education in Digital Mammography. Additionally, 8 hours of training in 3D DBT is required. Documentation from the ARRT website verifying certification and registration must show the dates that registry exams were passed. An ARRT Procedure Log completed during mammography training is necessary if training is after July 2017. There are no weekend shifts or on-call requirements. Travelers must be available to work every other holiday. Low census may lead to the cancellation of 2 shifts during the contract. Cancellations may occur with 2 weeks' notice without penalty. Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives. The requested time off must be submitted with the initial application. Maximum of 14 days allowed per contract for requested time off. No schedule requests will be accepted after an offer is made. Candidates will need up to 24 hours of orientation modules. Candidates may float to other units based on skill sets and census. Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests. Epic is the required charting system for this role. Candidates with any past license disciplinary action are not accepted.
