Travel Mammography Tech - $2,800 to $3,100 per week in Midland, TX

Duration: 13-Week Travel Contract with possible extension
Shift: Day Shift | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Travel Mammography Technologist to join The Breast Center for a 13-week assignment. This outpatient role offers the opportunity to work with advanced breast imaging technology while providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

• Monday–Friday
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• May be required to work until 7:00 PM one to two times per month
• Occasional Saturday coverage (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• No call required
• Every third weekend, as needed

• Perform screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography procedures
• Ensure patient comfort while maintaining high-quality imaging standards
• Follow radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
• Accurately document patient information using Cerner
• Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to deliver outstanding patient care

• Hologic 3D Mammography equipment
• Needle localizations
• Stereotactic biopsy assistance
• Fine needle aspiration assistance
• Bone Mineral Density (BMD) testing
• Digital quality assurance procedures

• Outpatient Breast Center
• Approximately 40 patient visits per day
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Two imaging rooms
• Modern breast imaging technology
• Collaborative outpatient care environment

• Location: Midland, Texas
• Start Date: Within the next 3–5 weeks (Target Start: August 3, 2026)
• Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
• COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Flu vaccination required (medical, religious exemptions, and declinations accepted)

• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application.
• Candidates should expect to work some holidays.
• Pending Texas license accepted with submission but must be active before the start date.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.
• An on-site pre-employment drug screen is required.
• Final compliance documents are due three business days before the start date.
