Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year minimum experience required License: Compact or NC license required Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS, ARRT(M) Must-Have: 1 year of experience in mammography Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, and Outpatient Screening Mammograms Documentation of 200 mammograms in the last 12 months on letterhead from current healthcare facility 15 CEUs in mammography in the last 2 years Initial qualifications for MQSA: Verification of ARRT, 40 hours training, 25 supervised mammograms, 8 CEUs of initial training in 2D and 3D Description: High-volume clinic seeking a Mammography Technologist. Position requires performing SCR and Diagnostic Mammograms. Candidate must have experience with a variety of exams including stereotactic biopsies and DEXA scans. The department primarily focuses on adult and geriatric patient age groups. Technologist must be comfortable working in a busy mammography department. Candidates should have preferred community hospital experience. Charge experience is preferred but not required. Clinical skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are essential. Please provide supervisory reference within the past year upon application. Compliance documentation must be submitted prior to start. Candidate must be responsive regarding compliance within specified timelines. Modules for training and compliance will be required to be completed.
