Job Title: X-Ray/Mammographer Profession: Technologist Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 Years X-Ray Experience, 1 Year Current Experience; 2 Years Current Mammography Experience License: MA Radiology License or Application of Same Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (M), Active American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in both X-Ray and Mammography - Excellent patient care skills - Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred) - Willingness to work weekends and evenings - Own vehicle Description: Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. Possess initiative and responsibility in technical assignments. Provide proper care of the client according to departmental and hospital policies. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrate the proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems. Expose and optimize images using CR, DR, and PACS applications. Attend mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. Maintain department competencies as required.
