Travel Mammography Tech - $3,177 per week in Oakland, CA

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: California State Mammography Licensure - Required Certification by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: Experience in diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, Hologic 3D, inpatient and outpatient settings, screening mammograms, and universal precautions/core measures Description: 4/10 work schedule. Hours are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. There may be a need for an occasional Saturday shift that will alter the days off. Every other weekend and 1 Saturday per month required. Responsibilities include performing mammograms at multiple locations, which may include a mobile unit. Travel to various locations within the Bay Area. Orientation and training will cover procedures and equipment used in mammography. Candidates must be able to float between designated sites. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Ensuring patient care and safety is of utmost importance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Strong communication skills are a must. Maintaining equipment and following safety protocols is expected. Candidates should provide accurate work history information going back 7 years. Comply with all health and safety regulations.
