Travel Mammography Tech - $3,319 per week in Oakland, CA

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: 2 years of experience required License: California State Mammography Licensure - Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, CRT Must-Have: - Ability to float between multiple locations - Experience with diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms Description: The candidate must be able to float between various locations and a mobile van. Shifts typically run Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For rotating weekend shifts, the schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with Monday off. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. Required certifications include ARRT Mammography certification, BLS, and California State Mammography Licensure. The role involves working with diagnostic mammograms and utilizing Hologic 3D technology. Familiarity with charting systems is expected. Candidates should be well-versed in universal precautions and core measures.
