Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with facility protocols and industry standards
- Position patients and operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and quality control procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) with Mammography (M) certification
- Current state licensure as required
- Proficiency in mammographic imaging techniques and equipment operation
- Knowledge of and compliance with ACR and MQSA standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a high-volume mammography setting
- Familiarity with digital mammography and CAD systems
- Experience with 3D tomosynthesis imaging
