Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of Mammography exams for patients in a clinical setting
- Apply principles, theories, and techniques of Mammography imaging to produce reliable and accurate imaging results
- Operate mammography and related imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and act independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate effectively with interdepartmental staff and interact professionally with the public
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in both Radiography and Mammography modalities
- Current Oregon Radiology license (or active application of same)
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of previous Mammography experience
- Current Mammography and X-Ray Skills Checklists (within the past year) and one supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
Preferred Experience / Skills- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in stereotactic biopsy procedures
