Key Responsibilities- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations for scheduled outpatients as well as inpatient and ER patients
- Operate digital mammography and tomosynthesis (tomo) equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within the Cerner EMR system
- Adhere to a patient scheduling workflow that accommodates both scheduled and unscheduled imaging needs
- Collaborate with the Radiology team including the Radiology Coordinator, Manager, and Supervisor to ensure smooth department operations
Required Qualifications- Active ARRT certification in Radiography or Mammography
- Active California State Mammography Technologist certification
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience with documented CE units in both digital mammography and tomosynthesis
- Ability to provide prior mammography case numbers for the last 2 years
Preferred Experience / Skills- Tomosynthesis (tomo) training and hands-on experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in a hospital setting with ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Advanced ARRT certification is a plus
- Venipuncture experience is a plus
