Schedule / Job TypeContract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week | Onsite | Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities- Produce diagnostic mammograms under the supervision of department management
- Assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures
- Operate mammographic equipment with a high degree of technical proficiency
- Provide age-appropriate patient care for adult and geriatric populations, addressing physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety needs
- Utilize hospital and department computer systems in support of imaging workflows
- Float to other areas within the organization as needed, up to competency level
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification in Mammography (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Active Nevada State Radiology License (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced imaging environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient or hospital-based imaging setting
- Familiarity with breast health imaging protocols and breast center operations
