Contract Length:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with flexibility for day shifts)

Job Summary:
The Mammography Technician is responsible for performing mammographic procedures in compliance with state, federal, and departmental standards. This role involves conducting mammographic examinations, bone density tests, and breast biopsy procedures with precision and accuracy. The technician will ensure patient records are complete and available for the radiologist, maintain equipment cleanliness, and adhere to safety protocols. Additionally, the technician will provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, respect cultural differences, and demonstrate professional values.

Required Qualifications:
• NJ DEP X-ray License
• ARRT certification in Mammography
• BLS Certified
• Up-to-date with 15 current Mammography CE credits
• 8 hours of documented training in 2D and 3D imaging
• Documented specific training in stereotactic biopsies
• Compliance with MQSA standards for mammography exams
• Graduate of an NJDEP or JRCERT-approved radiography program

Preferred Qualifications:
• One (1) year of experience in Mammography
• Proficiency in Epic and Sectra PACS (can be obtained during training)
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
