Mammography Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Responsibilities include evaluating images for technical acceptability, maintaining compliance with department protocols, and accurately recording patient tracking information.

Required Qualifications
 

• New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography
• Registered with ARRT
• Maintain MQSA requirements

Preferred Qualifications
 

• Demonstrated competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors
• Experience with PACS and IDX systems

Additional Information
 

• Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as per department SOP
• Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
