Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Critical access, 25-bed hospital setting in the Mammography department
• Average daily caseload of 8 screening mammograms
• Uses Meditech and PenRad for exam tracking
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 32 hours per week
• No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
• Floating is not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• ARRT certification required
• Arkansas state radiology license required (can be obtained prior to start); license required if applicable
• Experience with Meditech and PenRad preferred
• Must be able to perform mammography exams and manage QC and follow-up letters for patients

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing screening mammograms, quality control, and patient follow-up letters
• Orientation occurs every other Monday
• Scrubs required with no specific color requirement
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
