Job Summary:
Mammographer position available in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves performing mammographic procedures according to state, federal, and department standards and guidelines. The technician will review patient records, ensure all relevant information is complete, and execute mammographic examinations, bone density tests, and breast biopsies with a focus on accuracy and safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to fill day shifts.
- Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an NJ Department of Environmental Protection approved radiography program. - ARRT certification in Mammography. - Licensed by New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in Diagnostic Radiography. - BLS Certified. - One (1) year of experience in Mammography. - Proficiency in Epic and Sectra PACS (can be obtained during training/introductory period). - NJ DEP X-ray License.
- Preferred Qualifications: - ARRT in Radiologic Technology. - ARRT in Mammography.
- Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a high-volume team environment. - Problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly. - Detail-oriented and well organized.
- Additional Information: - Experience in stereotactic biopsies, breast interventions, and diagnostic exams is preferred. - Documented specific training in stereotactic biopsies. - Must adhere to MQSA standards and maintain required licenses and certifications. - May have call and holiday rotations as required by the site. - Works with leadership to ensure all annual competencies are completed. - Ability to maintain all licenses, certifications, and CE requirements. - Utilizes all system clinical communication tools.
