Job Summary:
Mammographer position in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves assisting with breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. The position also requires instructing and positioning patients to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and ensuring proper data entry for dictation and billing.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Mammography experience; ARRT (Mammography) certification; BLS (AHA) certification; ability to work at the main campus downtown or Weisberg facility in Farmington Hills
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Assists in breast biopsy procedures, instructs and positions patients, ensures safety and cleanliness, manually enters data, and adheres to all facility policies and procedures. Policy permits one unscheduled absence and two tardies within a 13-week contract, beginning 10/15/2024.
