Job Summary: The healthcare organization is seeking a Mammographer in Napa, California. This role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including biopsies and needle localizations. The position requires a dedicated professional with experience in mammography procedures to support the facilitys patient care needs.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: A valid California license in hand, one year of relevant mammography experience, certification in mammography, specific charting experience in Epic, and familiarity with digital mammography, screening, diagnostic, biopsy procedures, and needle localizations.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mammography exams, biopsy procedures, and needle localizations (preferred but not required).
PATIENT AGE GROUPS: Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Census: 35 patients
Number of Rooms: 2
Holidays: Willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
Additional Information:
Travel may require floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Candidates must adhere to a 50-mile local radius rule.
References covering at least one year within the last three years are required.
Return staff policy: 3 months to return as a traveler.
Candidate must be able to submit SSN, DOB, and RTO details at time of submission.
The position involves mammography exams including screening, diagnostic, biopsy, and needle localization procedures.
