Job Title: Mammography Technologist

1. Location: Morristown Hospital – Rippel Breast Center
   Job Type: Full-Time
   Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexible to cover additional day shifts as needed)

   Job Description:
   We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing diagnostic mammography exams, breast interventions, and stereotactic biopsy procedures. The technologist will provide high-quality patient care while ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and compliance with MQSA standards.

   Responsibilities:

   • Perform 2D and 3D screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
   • Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures and breast interventions.
   • Ensure proper patient positioning and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
   • Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety.
   • Maintain accurate documentation and follow breast imaging protocols.
   • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members.
   • Follow MQSA standards and department quality requirements.

   Required Qualifications:

   • Mammography Technologist experience required.
   • Experience with stereotactic biopsies, breast interventions, and diagnostic mammography.
   • NJ DEP X-Ray License required.
   • ARRT Registered in Mammography (ARRT-M) required.
   • BLS Certification required.
   • Primary Source Verification required.
   • Current Mammography CE requirements (15 CE credits).
   • Documented 2D and 3D mammography training (8 hours).
   • Documented stereotactic biopsy training.
   • Must maintain compliance with MQSA standards.

   Preferred Qualifications:

   • Breast imaging center experience preferred.
   • Professional references preferred.
