Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform breast imaging procedures on a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• Day shift schedule, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week at 12 hours per shift
• 13-week contract length
• Performs radiographic and mammography procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for diagnostic interpretation and/or intervention

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Ability to corroborate patient clinical history with procedure documentation
• Ability to prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions

Additional Information

• Applies x-ray energy and medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment
• Exercises professional judgment while maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful procedure completion
• Produces diagnostic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
