Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3-5 years of diagnostic breast experience and required ARRT and mammography certifications.

Details

• Work in a Mammography/Breast Imaging unit
• Perform screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, and mammography-guided procedures
• Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy strongly preferred
• Unit equipped with 5 mammography machines including Hologic Selenia Dimensions and 3D systems, and Hologic Affirm system
• Breast ultrasound performed using Philips IU22 and GE Pristina equipment
• 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• 26-week assignment

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• MA mammography certification required
• ARRT or ARDMS breast ultrasound/breast sonography certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• MA license required if applicable
• 3-5 years of diagnostic breast experience at an imaging center required
• 1 year of experience using McKesson PACS image archive storage system required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple competing tasks

Additional Information

• Must be able to seek supervisory or managerial assistance as appropriate
• Candidates must complete pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing for Milton and Plymouth campus assignments
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates not accepted
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any BILH facility
