Job Summary:
Mammographer in San Diego, California. This position involves performing breast imaging studies in a healthcare provider setting. The role requires current certification and licensing, with a focus on screening and diagnostic mammography, including stereotactic and needle localization procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, with shift hours totaling 8 hours per day, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California mammography license; ARRT (Mammography) certification; at least 2 years of experience in mammography, including screening and diagnostic procedures; proven ability to complete 200 studies within the last two years; 15 continuing education units in breast imaging within the last 3 years; proof of formal education program completion; experience with stereotactic and needle localization procedures is a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Stereotactic and Needle Locs procedures is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The assignment is scheduled to begin on 08/24/2026 for a duration of 26 weeks. The selected candidate will be expected to float to facilities within the San Diego area as needed.
