**Exciting Opportunity for a Mammography Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team dedicated to women's health and breast imaging. - Perform mammography examinations in accordance with ACR requirements. - Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic guided procedures performed within a state-of-the-art Breast Center. - Conduct diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a professional and timely manner. - Facilitate mammographic imaging for breast needle localization and stereotactic procedures, managing setup and cleanup with precision. - Provide support in ultrasound-guided procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care. - Select proper technical factors based on individual patient needs and operate equipment expertly. - Ensure accurate patient identification by marking films appropriately and documenting essential information. - Develop exposed x-ray films using proven processing methods. - Complete patient requisitions with attention to detail, including technologist’s initials and film sizes. - Assist in quality control procedures and documenting key metrics for quality assurance as delegated by the Chief Mammography Technologist. - Engage in patient education, providing pre and post-procedure instructions, and teaching breast self-examination (BSE). - Prepare cases for imaging, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order. - Compile statistics for patient follow-ups and track relevant procedures. - Maintain meticulous records in compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA regulations. - Adapt care strategies to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations. - Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams at the appropriate developmental and educational levels. - Take on additional duties and projects as assigned. - Uphold HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
