Job Summary
Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Fetal Medicine, offering an opportunity to work within a dedicated fetal imaging center. The role involves conducting comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound studies across all trimesters, including early anatomic assessments, fetal echocardiography, Doppler evaluations, and transvaginal ultrasounds, collaborating closely with perinatologists to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in all trimesters, including first trimester dating and early anatomic assessments, detailed second and third trimester evaluations, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasound. Work directly with perinatologists in a high-quality independent fetal imaging center, following American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) standards.
• Credentials: BLS certification; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS); Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology or graduate of an accredited sonography program.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ultrasound; familiarity with multiple ultrasound imaging techniques including transabdominal and transvaginal; experience in obstetric ultrasound in all trimesters; advanced fetal imaging studies; genetic sonograms; Doppler assessments; adherence to AIUM protocols.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, Friday 4 hours. Minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate proficiency in maternal-fetal ultrasound imaging and documentation, assist physicians with procedures, and maintain current knowledge through continued education. Must be able to communicate professionally with patients and staff and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
