Job Summary:
Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) sonographer position based in a busy unit specializing in high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations. The role involves performing comprehensive obstetric ultrasounds, including first, second, and third-trimester scans, Doppler studies, and specialized maternal and fetal assessments. The sonographer collaborates closely with fellow healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and patient care needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Prior Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound experience of at least one year, proficiency in obstetric ultrasound techniques, and knowledge of high-risk pregnancy protocols.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced ultrasound equipment, familiarity with EMR/PACS systems, and certification from a recognized ultrasound accreditation body (e.g., AIUM).
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The ultrasound procedures include detailed anatomy surveys, growth and biophysical profiles, cervical length assessment, placental evaluation, and Doppler studies. The sonographer will acquire high-quality diagnostic images, perform accurate measurements, and ensure all studies meet accreditation standards. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and prompt communication of abnormal findings are essential responsibilities.
