Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift Float Pool role requiring prior travel experience and TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Float Pool position covering 5 Med/Surg units
• General Med/Surg adult patient population, ages 18+
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
• 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to the ER as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Navy scrubs required

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Unit creates the staff schedule
• No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
• Orientation limited to specific dates: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, or 10/26
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• 75-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
